![]() Introduction Anki is a program which makes remembering things easy. If you would like to help translate the manual into a different language, or you would like to look at the translations that are currently in progress, please see the translating the manual section. One for the animal and one for the adjective. These translations are contributed by volunteers. Now let's say you also wanted to keep their describing adjectives. You want to keep the animal and normalize the sentences for all of them. These translations are contributed by volunteers. You have various animal sentences in a field on your Anki notes. This killed me too before I learned of it because in many regex implementations, the $ is used to denote a capture group, but in Anki, the \ is used. You can create a capture group by surrounding any matching regex pattern you would like to keep during the replacement by surrounding it with parentheses and using the convention \ ordered by the number of (captured ) groups you specified. I thought I would just chime in to say that answer is correct. The pattern itself can be shortened but here I mainly focused on how to make it work at all. I am using the following settings.Ĭolumn flds: OneTwoThreeOneTwoThreeĪpparently regex works on the flds column. Anki Universal is a completely free flashcard app (no forced ads, paid models, etc.) that will help you memorize.NameLessGO April 8, 2023, 4:06pm 4 Could you see if this issue is the same as yours Anki 2.1.61 Qt6 appears in the Taskmanager but does not launch cjarc April 8, 2023, 4:09pm 5 It is not. But you can make a filtered custom study blablabla, in other programs I don’t need to do this at all. See Startup Issues - Anki Manual cjarc April 8, 2023, 4:04pm 3 Yes I’ve tried all the options in the manual. I don’t need Anki to tell me how to learn. Let’s look at couple of trials with the ‘Find and Replace’ window. With Anki you get scheduled learning using the blablabla method. I can only assume that it was working in some of the previous versions but was unintentionally broken. The documentation is not helpful at all and is even misleading as it shows an example which does not work when applied. The answer seems easy to provide but when a valid regex is applied in the ‘Find and Replace’ it simply does not work.
